GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE OF TOURIST SERVICES
In addition to the following general conditions, the description of the tourist package sent, as well as the booking confirmation of the services requested by the traveler, constitute an integral part of the travel contract. When the contract is brokered by a Travel Agency, the booking confirmation is sent by the Tour Operator to the Travel Agency, as the agent of the Traveler and the latter will have the right to receive it from the same. In signing the travel package sale proposal, the Traveler expressly declares to have understood and accepted, for himself and for the subjects for which he requests the service, both the travel contract as regulated therein, and the warnings contained therein, and these general conditions.
RESERVATION
The booking request is considered completed when the deposit is paid and with the delivery of the relative travel contract provided by Fairtoursperu to the customer. The acceptance of reservations is subject to the availability of seats and is considered completed only when the organizer sends written confirmation, also by electronic system, to the customer, possibly at the selling travel agency. The information relating to the tourist package not contained in the contractual documents will be provided by the organizer in good time before the start of the trip. The travel package may be canceled by Fairtoursperu in the event of force majeure events (strikes, adverse weather activities, socio-political events, etc.) not directly dependent on Fairtoursperu's will and / or organization.
At the time of signing the contract, the deposit must be paid to the extent indicated by the organizer or the seller, which is paid as a confirmatory deposit and advance on the price account. The balance must be paid within the deadline established by the organizer in the booking confirmation. Failure by the Organizer to receive the sums indicated above, on the established dates, as well as failure to return the sums paid by the Traveler to the intermediary to the Tour Operator, will result in the automatic termination of the contract to be communicated by simple written communication, or via e -mail, at the intermediary agency, or at the domicile of the traveler, even electronic, where communicated. The balance of the price is considered to have taken place when the sums reach the organizer directly from the traveler or through the intermediary of the same chosen traveler.
PRICE
The price of the tour package is determined in the contract and is defined in US dollars. Fairtoursperu is a Peruvian agency and, therefore, uses the US dollar as its currency.
PAYMENTS
When booking, an amount must be paid as a deposit for multi-day trips, or the balance for one-day trips or mini-packages. The methods and amounts are indicated in the individual travel programs. Failure by the Consumer to comply with these conditions authorizes the organizer to cancel reservations even if they have already been confirmed. Registration implies full acceptance by the traveler (Consumer) of the Fairtoursperu travel rules and conditions.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES
If a tourist who has signed a travel contract should renounce, for reasons not dependent on the organizer, he will be charged, as a penalty regardless of the deposit paid, the following percentages of the participation fee, calculated on the basis of how many days before the start of the trip was canceled, in addition to the charges and expenses to be incurred for the cancellation of the services.
- 15% from the day of booking up to 30 days before departure
- 35% from 29 to 15 days before departure
- 75% from 14 to 4 days before departure
-100% from 3 to 0 days before departure.
Some services may be subject to different penalties, the same will be communicated at the time of booking. In the case of low cost flights, the cost of the flight is a total penalty from the moment of confirmation. For all combinations, no reimbursement will be granted to those who do not show up at the start or who give up during the course of the trip itself. Likewise, no reimbursement will be due to those who cannot make the trip due to lack, invalidity, insufficiency or inaccuracy of the envisaged personal expatriation documents.
